Sailing in Elliott Bay
Friday after work we met our friends Charlie and Liz down at Pier 66 on the Seattle waterfront for a chartered sunset sailing excursion, courtesy of Brian’s parents who gave us a gift card to Puget Sound Sailing as a welcome to Seattle gift back when we first moved here! We had a great time sailing all around Elliott Bay – luckily the weather was fairly nice and the Olympics were visible, making for a glorious sunset view. Plus, we were able to get a unique look at Seattle’s new ferris wheel, which just opened that night! After we returned to the marina, we decided to grab dinner at Ivar’s. All in all, a perfect evening on the water! Thanks Cyndy and Andy!
