Seattle Art Museum
We thought today would be a lovely day for exploring downtown Seattle a bit more so we headed to the Seattle Art Museum where we spent a few hours exploring all of the exhibits. We were most excited to check out the Kurt Cobain and Andy Warhol special exhibits. Very cool stuff. Here are some pics from the day:
After the museum, we strolled over to Pike’s Place where we got those delicious mini donuts. Mmm…. totally worth the drive into the city. Then we walked over to Pacific Place and did some shopping, mostly at Barnes and Noble, where I got these precious owl book ends! We also got a cool book on hikes near Seattle, which we used to plan tomorrow’s adventure! Then we had a delicious dinner at Von’s Roast House before heading home!
What a day! A little angst, a little edge, and a couple little treats! The donuts DO look delicious!
